“Prior to installing the RapidPakRx we were packaging for about 85 patients, and just three months in, we’re over 150 patients at this point.”

Technology sets RxSafe apart. One of our most recent developments is the DRI™, the first-of-its-kind, message initiation “data rich interchange” for the retail pharmacy market. This protocol is essential for real workflow, providing pharmacy management with a complete suite of reports at their fingertips. The DRI is an integral part of every RxSafe product, making it a unique offering in pharmacy management software. With the development of the DRI, pharmacy workflow becomes even more robust and streamlined than ever before.
RxSafe is one of the few companies that uses thermal printing for all its strip packaging—that means more flexibility and lower operating costs. Virtually anything can be printed onto the strip packaging including graphics, text, symbology, bar codes, etc. The information can be customized to your exact needs. Since no ribbons are needed, there are no replacement costs or maintenance fees incurred—just one more way that RxSafe passes along cost savings to you.
Experience the unparalleled, adherence packaging automation technology of the RapidPakRx™. The RapidPakRx comes with 20, 30 or 40 “smart” universal cartridges that dispense all oral solid medications or nutraceuticals such as clear gel caps, half tabs, new generics, etc. — without calibration. Med cycles are completely configurable at the lowest possible cost. No “pill-at-a-time” loading. No more trays or remote tray filling stations. Plus, no more errors from hand filling trays.
Our unique, 3-step, integrated machine vision verification system enables one-pass workflow, unmatched accuracy, and significantly lower operating cost. No need to stock expensive inventory in your automation system. There’s lower inventory cost, less expiration waste, and rarely the need to refill during a run. Cleaning is far less time consuming. More things get done in less time, greatly enhancing pharmacy efficiency. No more “open” cassettes.
RapidPakRx has the lowest daily operating costs in the industry—with automatic, variable pouch length and the consumable pouch material costs are notably the least expensive. Thermal printing means no ink ribbons. If you’ve passed up strip packaging before—time to reconsider!

“Prior to installing the RapidPakRx we were packaging for about 85 patients, and just three months in, we’re over 150 patients at this point.”
We chose the RapidPak over the competition due to the built-in visual inspection, the non-NDC specific cartridges, and the all-in-one visual inspection. The most important factor was the built-in visual inspection. We looked at other products, and those products were a separate component. With the RapidPak, we’re able to get a small system to fit in our retail space that had it all built in to one unit.
“With the PakMyMeds network, we are receiving leads on a weekly basis. We get 3 to 4 leads a week that we can reach out to.”
One of the things we liked about the RapidPakRx was that the cartridges are universal for all tablets. Previously, we had to worry about getting new canisters or changing out parts for it to make it work, but with the RapidPakRx, you just have a couple sizes of canisters and it works for any tablet that you have.
The one thing that made the RapidPakRx really attractive was the universal cartridges. With the other machines, the biggest headache was that since we switch NDCs all the time, the machine became less and less useful as we had to wait for cartridges versus with the RapidPakRx, no matter what NDC we get that day, we know it’s going to work in the machine.
A primary reason that we selected the strip packager was that our customers appreciate that the pouches are easy to open – this is a very important feature for an aging patient population.
